The only thing you can do with a broken screen is to replace it. Sorry to say that iFixit doesn't have a guide to that repair for you, but the Spanish site Nadie Me Llama Gallina has just what you need. As you might guess, the site is written in Spanish, but if you use it with the Chrome browser's translation feature, it is quite usable no matter what your native language is.

On your phone the recommended way to replace the screen is to replace the midframe and screen together as a single assembly. That has both good and bad points to it; the good side is you don't have to mess around with gluing the screen onto the frame and clamping it together till it dries, plus it'll be sealed against liquids better than you could do on your own. The downside is you basically have to gut the phone, removing all of the internal parts and moving them to the new midframe. It's actually not as bad of an operation as you might think, as the phone has been designed with that in mind.
If for some reason you prefer to replace just the screen without the midframe, there are videos available on YouTube that will show you how to do that. You'll save a few dollars on buying the screen alone without the frame, but you'll make up for that by having to buy the glue as well.
I hope that gives you the information you need to know; let us know how it turns out for you!
