my laptop (Lenovo IdeaPad L340-15IRH Gaming) ethernet port died. Out of warranty. I have good soldering skills and I want to replace the faulty ethernet port. Can you help me with list of HW compatible & size compatible ethernet ports? Motherboard: lnvnb161216
USB external ethernet is out of question (low on USB ports).

If the motherboard's model number is LA-H082P (printed on motherboard) then you should be able to get the Ethernet port part information from the schematics for the board.
Here's a link which has the schematics, but you have to join the website to download it.
There's also this link which has the schematics - see item #7 in the list, but it is part of a 129MB download, which I didn't want to do.
If you find the part number, search online using the part information, to find suppliers.
Here's the hardware maintenance manual for the laptop that will also help.
Go to the bottom of p.36 (43 of 62 pdf) to view the procedure to remove the systemboard as this will be necessary for you to remove/replace the Ethernet port
