Repair, disassembly, and troubleshooting information for the Xbox Series X, Microsoft's 4K gaming console. The Xbox Series X was released alongside its companion console, the Xbox Series S, on November 10th, 2020.

Does the ffcc socket has been fixed correctly?

Xbox series x , the power button stopped to be working, the ffc socket has been broken.

The lab fixed the FFC connector for me, but I’ve got a feeling they did some kind of workaround — it doesn’t really look brand new.

I don’t think it’s even possible to disconnect the cable (I haven’t tried).

Anyone know for sure if the repair looks solid, or should I go back to the lab and complain?

Hi!

It looks fine. They probably didn’t replaced the cable. You can get it out (as far as I can see).

But the most important thing,, does it work?? If not, then go back and ask them.

yeah it's working good. but I think about the day in the future that I might be able to open the console and pull out all the parts for cleaning...:)

so if the cable was glued i'm gonna have a problem taking the cable out

Nice, I would leave it like this. The cable is not glued in, it has tape on the back and it's a pull out cable. So, I think you are fine :).
