This Craftsman saw has not been used in four plus years sitting in a shed. I turned it on with an extension cord and it fired up for about 2 seconds I unplugged extension cord I tried to plug it back in and it will not turn on. I know there's a reset button and I try to push it but it won't work. Any suggestions
POSSIBLE CAUSES 1. Saw is not plugged in. 2. Fuse blown or circuit breaker tripped. 3. Cord is damaged. 4. Debris in on/off switch
CORRECTIVE ACTION 1. Plug in saw. 2. Replace fuse or reset circuit breaker. 3. Replace power cord. 4. Remove switch from saw and separate in half. Clean any debris accumulated within.
