Many mobiles share the same type of speaker, for example the iphone speaker works in a nokia etc, so if you have a spare speaker or can find one very cheaply of the same dimensions on ebay etc I'd try that. Most speakers just pop out with the use of a tool like a flathead screwdriver and then you pop the new one in. Hope this helps.
