Replacing the screen rubber

I have 3 MacBook A1502 13" models 2013/14/15 and all are in desperate need of a new display frame rubber.... do we have to remove the glass to do this or can this be done leaving the glass installed? Contemplating making a guide to do this.....

I seen this video but it looks kinda risky to crack the glass.....

You do not need to remove the glass to replace the display frame rubber (also called the LCD bezel gasket or cushion seal) on the MacBook Pro A1502 models (2013–2015).

Yeah I have seen it done in a couple of videos but it looks real risky that the glass might crack when scraping out the debris.... I will give it a go when the replacements arrive cheers!
