The Nespresso Pixie is a compact coffee maker that uses capsules rather than grounds. It is a single-cup coffee maker that only requires 25 seconds to heat up and brew a cup of coffee.

Where does this piece go!

I followed video on how to take apart machine to clean diffuser plate, put back together and have a black plastic piece left over. Have seen others with same problem but no-one has an answer. It would make my day to know!

The part is a component of part no. 24 in the explosion view above.

It is one of the covers of the electronic control board.

It is located at the top area of the PCB cover, just where it goes behind the thermoblock.

Thank you so much. At last, the mystery is solved. Youtube had many posts asking the same question but the video creators never answered. When I rally the enthusiasm I'll take the whole thing apart again and replace the missing piece.

If you solved the mystery, would you please show where this piece goes as I have the same problem? You'll make my day too😅

I'm afraid I couldn't be bothered to take the Nespresso machine apart again, and all the diagrams available online weren't clear enough to show where the piece went. The machine works (twice as loud) so I think the piece stopped vibrations. It also leaks during use so is now sat in a tray to catch the water. I believe that after cleaning the parts which were cakes with coffee, I then put pressure on the O ring which many posts said you have to replace eventually. I can't be bothered to do this as once again it would require taking the whole thing apart. If you are happy to, I would suggest watching a video on replacing the rubber O ring, so you can do both repairs at the same time and be done with it.
