Hi, Not super familiar with Walkman/board repair but I have opened it up to see if I could identify any rust or failure points that would cause it to not turn on.
The below photos show the board which I couldn't immediately identify any issues, with the exception of what may be excess flux????
Any advice would be incredibly helpful, thank you in advance!

Here's p.17→p.21 of the service manual that may help.
Go to p.19 (4 of 6 pdf) and start chasing the power supply path for the device from connector J401(or the battery) and see how far you get.
