The Aorus FV43U, a 43-inch Quantum Dot (QD) display with UHD resolution, HDMI 2.1, a 144Hz refresh rate, and 1ms MPRT. It supports 97% DCI-P3/150% sRGB color gamut, 10-bit color, and is DisplayHDR1000™ certified.

Internal mounting hardware housing (leg and vesa)

The leg and VESA mounting hardware inside the monitor enclosure seems to be missing/misaligned. How do I check/repair/replace the mounting hardware?

I own 2 of these monitors. One works fine (other than speaker sound stopped working), and the other has the aforementioned mounting issue.

Details: Missing 3 VESA threads and one of the legs will not go into the monitor leg housing all the way, resulting in legs that won't stand/monitor that tips over. I am currently using a makeshift method to keep it up on a monitor stand for now, but I am looking for a more permanent solution. I should have contacted the manufacturer long ago, but I did not, and I am looking for a way to fix it myself.

Hi @ratixfarrence

Not sure if you've opened the monitor or not to check what the problem may be. Here's a video that shows how to open it that may help, if you haven't

Thanks for contributing. I didn't think a teardown video even existed, though I did search for one awhile back.

Now it comes down to how to replace the missing VESA thread pieces that protrude from the back of it...

Also forgot to mention that the monitor with the problem is in the place i'm moving to in a few months, but I'll be there in a few weeks to open it and check to see if I need those M6 coupling nuts and hopefully nothing else on top of that.

@ratixfarrence

On p.21-p.22 of the user manual it states to use the screws from the feet to secure to the mounting plate in the monitor.

Best that I can find out is that the screws are size M4 x 16mm You'll need 4.
