Repair and disassembly information for the Logitech MX Master 3S wireless mouse. Released in 2022 and identified by model number MR0077. The primary part numbers are 910-006556 (Black), 910-006557 (Graphite), and 910-006558 (Pale Gray). Other model iterations or geographic regions have slightly different part numbers, such as the Graphite variant initially being sold at launch as 810-008295 (in the US), 810-008296 (in Canada) and 810-008345 (In Europe).

Both left and right buttons malfunctioning

Less than a year after purchasing the MX Master 3S, the left button started to not register clicks (about 2/3 of the time) and shortly after, the right button followed the same issue.

I would really like to have a guide on replacing switches and the parts that fit here.

Thanks,

Hi mate,

This seems to be a very very common issue on these mice. My MX anywhere 3 is doing the same thing with the right click after 4 years where it feels mushy, like something's dislodged.

Because logitech & iFixit have partnered, there are guides on this very website on how to disassemble the mx master 3s, and given the one you want isn't there you can always reference the master 3 guide, since they are very similar.

As for where to find the parts, Logitech isn't selling them here as they likely require resoldering. What you could do however is to open up the mouse, check what the part number is and given you are able to solder, order one yourself & do the repair.

If you don't want to do the repair yourself, there's a chance your local repair shop might do the repair for you since it's a small soldering job. Otherwise i don't reckon Logitech are going to do replacements on that mouse.

Do note, since this is less than a year old, you should be able to claim with logitech given the 1 yr warranty.

I just passed the warranty :( lol.

The opening guide currently on iFixit does not include replacing the switches, nor dose it mention parts that would work.

Logitech has replaced the switch from MX 3 to a drastically different type for MX 3S. I placed an order for a couple of Kail Mute 6 x 6 x 7.3 switches, will update if they fits.
