@kyelerw I think you missed the point of the post; my reading says the digitizer has failed, not the display.
@princemharb6163 Most Android phones will automatically recognize a wired mouse when it's plugged into the USB port, and you can use the mouse in lieu of a working touch screen. I've done that on my Google Pixel when it would not respond to the touch screen; that allowed me to reboot the phone; in my case that was all it took, but if your digitizer has failed completely you'll need to replace the screen to fix it.
I just used an old school Logitech wired USB mouse with a cheap USB-A to UBS-C adapter. Once plugged in, a mouse cursor will appear on the screen and using the mouse you can click anywhere you would normally touch.

You can use software like AirDroid to remotely control your device. If the touchscreen still works, but you can't see it, you can use volume shortcuts to activate feedback. You can also plug get an HDMI converter and plug your device into it and connect it to a monitor to see what is supposed to appear on your screen through the monitor.
