Jed, give us some more information. You just replaced the battery, is that right? Now you're trying to "calibrate" it and, what, it's not working? In what way? Does the battery charge to 100%? Then you use it until it dies, correct?

What exactly is it doing or not doing? The more information you can give us, the better the chance we can help you figure out what's going on.

you had it right installed the replacement [original hp battery] laptop charges

100% has been working fine. It is HP support Assistant that is installed on laptop that is saying something is amiss with the battery. I have no problems with it. Thank you for so accurately solving the problem with so very little to go on. I deeply appreciate that! JED
