I had to buy a new motherboard for my xbox and after some troubleshooting i got it to boot. But when i try to add a account i get the banned icon with the red hands. My console is also in chinese and cant fix that until i can sign in. P.S i bought the motherboard from Ifixit.

What kind of troubleshooting to get it to boot? Whenever the motherboard has a ban, it’s difficult to get rid of it. Best thing to do is to contact Ifixit and see what you can do. Probably return it and get yourself another one. Sorry.

I had to do an offline download of OSU1 and that made it boot
Yeah, you also re-partioned the harddisk? Would try this as well. Just format it and completely repartion it and then reinstall it. You can also take another HDD to do this. But, I’m afraid it is still motherboard related…
