How to fix black dots on samsung tv?

Hi i have a samsung LE40N87BD. The tv has black dots at the bottom and they keep getting bigger. The weird thing is that there was a pretty thick black line connecting the dots but now the line has disappeared and the pixels where the line used to be are back to normal. BUT the problem is that the black dots keep getting bigger and bigger. Is there a way to fix this issue?

@vagelis48076 there is no fix for this. What you are looking at is a failed LCD. You would have to try to find a new display for that. Remove the back cover and you will see a label that is stuck to the back of the LCD display. There should be a model number on that. Do a search with that number. Most of the time replacement LCD's cost more than a new TV, so see if you can maybe get a used one or even find a TV that uses the same LCD and has issues other than a bad LCD. You could then harvest the LCD from that.

@oldturkey03 Thanks for your reply. I was thinking that maybe there was a fix since the black line connecting the dots disappeared over time.
