The sixth-generation Honda Civic was introduced in 1995. It retained its class-leading handling as it, along with the fourth and fifth generations, had front double wishbone suspension, the advanced independent suspension inspired by Honda's racing research.

Did you mean back of the engine bay? Coolant would not be leaking from the rear of the vehicle as there are no coolant lines back there. A coolant leak in the rear of the engine bay can indicate heater hoses, or the block could could be porous, or the headgasket could be leaking. Do a coolant pressure test (apply the recommended pressure on the cap and let it sit) and see how much psi you drop over 10 minutes. You shouldn't lose more than 1 psi. If you find youre losing pressure faster than that, apply pressure again to cap spec and look around with a flashlight to see if you can find coolant dripping from somewhere

Is this a civic hatch back by chance? I see you said sedan, but a hatch back would have a rear wiper, in which case fluid leaking from the rear could be washer fluid. If you have a sunroof, it could just be water draining from the rear drains. Put dye in your cooling system and drive it a few days. Then check with a uv flash light to see where you find dye. That should give you a clear picture of the leak. If you dont see dye after about 1000 miles, then it could be leaking internally; early 2000s civics had porous casting and headgasket concerns.
