turn hold off and it still says hold

When i plug it n it says full and take it out it says hold so i turn hold off n it still says hold

hdh, sounds like it may be time to disassemble your iPod. Check the make sure that the plastic tab is till properly seated to move the actually switch. Download the service manual from here if you need help with your Walkman. Hope this helps, good luck.
