Hi @georgiasmith

What is the full model and product number of the washer as shown on the information label on the back of the washer?

Have you verified it's a bearing problem and not a suspension spring (or rod) problem causing the out of balance condition?

It’s a front loader

Hi @georgiasmith

Here's some information that may help.

Here's a video that shows how to check if it is a shock absorber or suspension spring problem. I realize that the video may not be for your exact model but it should suffice.

View from ~22:20 minutes in. At 22:35 you can see the suspension spring and at 23:05 & 23:11 you can see the two rear shock absorbers. There's another one at the front I think as the parts list shows 3. The two rear ones are different to each other as they have different torque ratings. The one at the front has the same rating as one of the rear ones. Presumably they're all rated accordingly to keep the drum reasonably balanced when turning

Here's the parts list for your exact model. (thanks for the product number. Knowing that helped to get the correct parts list for your model. F&P uses the same model series for a while but during the model run it changes the product slightly which can mean that the same components may have different specifications between machines in the same model series. I found this out on my F&P top loader when I had to replace a broken foot on the machine. ordered the one for the model only to find out it was the wrong one. Ordered for the model+product number got it right. I didn't have a parts list unfortunately.

If you find the problem, be it the bearing or the shocks or springs, locate the part number in the list and search online for it to get the exact part you need.
