New 3ds XL only displays a brief blue power light
Hello folks! I'm honestly stumped. I've done a few teardowns of my new 3ds XL to fix a few things with good success, but last year I did a simple breakdown to replace the buttons on my 3ds, and when I put it back together, it wouldn't turn back on. When I plug it in, the orange charge light turns on for around 5 seconds, and then turns right back off, and if I try to turn it on, I can see the blue power light turn on VERY dimly, and then turns right back off.
Originally I suspected that I may have blown a fuse, but I got the multimeter out, and I think I got readings on both fuses after turning it to diode mode, so I've ruled that out for now. I've also triple-checked that all of the ribbon cables are seated correctly, so I don't believe that's the issue at least.
Does anyone have any suggestions for me? Any advice would be TREMENDOUSLY appreciated, as I absolutely ADORE my 3ds, and even looking at it lately has made me a little depressed, since I miss being able to play with it.

Oh, one more thing too. The orange light will stay on when it's plugged in, but then it won't turn off when I unplug it. I previously said that the orange light would turn on for a few seconds before turning off, but that was only with a backup battery that I had laying around, and I'm pretty confident that the backup battery is just reaching the end of its life.
