Inspect and clean around the buttons, it can do that if its dirty or if there's a tiny bread particle or something stuck in there, it also could be because the usb plug is falsy (common problem for this controller). Basically when it disconnects and reconnect randomly(because the usb plug's is falsy). the last button u pressed will be stuck there, so if u pushed analog stick "up" for example and then disconnect and reconnect, it will read it as the analog stick is pushed up even tho it's not, in that case, just disconnect and reconnect without touching any button.
if none of this is your problem,Close any keymapping software.
- Check Steam > Settings > Controller > General Controller Settings, and uncheck options like “Generic Gamepad Configuration Support” temporarily to see if behavior changes.
- If a keymapping profile is auto-loading, delete or reset it.
