Why does my tv screen look like this?
I moved my tv to another room and when I plugged it up, this is how the screen looked and the tv doesn't work. What happened and can it be fixed?

@darrell3921 what you have here is a broken display. Sorry to say but there is no fixing it. You will need to replace the display. You can try and find a replacement panel based on the TV model. Better yet, do a search by the label that is on the back of the actual panel. Remove the back cover to get to it. That will tell you who build it and what the exact model number is.
Most of the time it will cost you more to replace the panel then to replace the TV. In that case, remove all of the circuit boards and offer those for sale on sites like ebay etc to at least recover some of the money. Discard the rest in an environmentally responsible manner.

You probably squeezed too hard on one side when you're moving it around, since there's a crack on the left side of the screen. At this point it would be better to replace the whole thing than to try and fix the screen itself because during the repair it's very likely that you'll break the new replacement screen as well. Also, sometimes replacement screens are more expensive than a new tv, so it's definitely not worth it.
Next time when you're moving tvs around, you should probably grip with less force and try to lift it from the bottom instead of at the sides. Less likely to break that way.
