During a move boxes were stacked on top of this tv. The screen it self doesnt have any cracks or scratches, smooth to the touch so everything is on the inside. just wondering if this is a fixable thing or just scrape. I did reedit this to add a video to see if this would need a screen replacement or a ne LCD panel. if the video isnt working its just of sound coming from the news

@ykceb you will need a new LCD screen in order to fix this. Screens a re a bit hard to come by. You can always check. Remove the back cover from your TV. There will be a label stuck top the actual display panel. that will give you the maker as well as the type of the panel. Use those numbers and do an internet search. See if you can find a replacement
If you can't find a panel, then I would suggest that you remove all of the circuit boards. Offer those for sale or donate them to a friend that does repair. Spare TV circuit boards are always in demand. Discard the rest of the TV in an environmentally conscious way. Don't just toss it in the bin.

@ykceb you would need a complete new panel. Not quite sure what size your TV is but those panels in general are hard to come by and if you find them, they are more expensive than a new TV.
