@cdk we would need to know the exact model of your laptop. Those commonly have a tag on the bottom cover. Sometimes, even the battery will have some tag or even a proper label on it. If you have your laptop apart already, take a couple of good pictures of the battery and the laptop (tag/label) and post those with your Question.
