Mid 2010 Power Supply vs. Mid 2011-late 2014 PS

I am getting conflicting answers to this question. Ifixit site makes a clear distinction (to include cost differential) between these 2 options. However, web research and other Sites suggest that there is no physical nor electrical difference (just an Apple part number distinction) between any of the mid 2010 to late 2014 PS units. I have a late 2014 Mini PS that I want to keep as a spare for a mid 2010 Mini. Definitive technical answer as to physical and electrical (to include connector pin-out) compatibility would be appreciated!

Hello Dana, to answer your question, all A1347 PSUs are interchangeable. This includes mid 2010 models to late 2014, both server and non-server units. They all use functionally identical variants of an 85W compact PSU, though later PSU part numbers are technically more efficient due to different internal designs, this difference should not be significant and does not change the power pinout or maximum power that they can supply. I used to perform a DC input conversion service and used the same components for all A1347 models due to their identical PSU pinouts.
