My ps2 launches the game but completely stops in the middle

When I put game In ps2 it starts the game and also show the loading screen but when the game is about tot start ir crashes and it stops completely and doest work

Most likely caused by a bad laser. Those are starting to fails these days.

I would replace that one and see how it goes!
