I always think of it as starting with the wheel farthest from the brake cylinder then working your way to the nearest exactly as @oldturkey03 has listed.

@dadibrokeit same here. The only time that did not work for me was on my old 74CJ. It actually needed to be done right front first. Never had such a hard time to bleed brakes until that beast. Luckily some old Jeepster helped me out :-)
