GE Cafe refrigerator suddenly stopped cooling
I’ve gone through all the steps, pulled up the error codes, ran the tests. In the end, my compressor is running but is not very warm to the touch. It is not cooling at all. The fans all check out, thermistor tests seem fine, the condenser is clean, the entire fridge is defrosted so no ice on evaporators. This problem was not gradual, but all at once. If I’m understanding everything, I think the compressor is bad, although other than the low hum and vibration, it’s not making bad sounds, but is definitely running. Anything else I can check? The thing is only 7 years old, and I’d hate it to be an $800 compressor, plus labor and refrigerant.

Hi @jesseb80375
What is the model number of the refrigerator?
Does the condenser coil feel warm?
Does the evaporator unit feel icy cold to the touch?
What are the actual temperatures in both of the compartments?
