MacBook Pro wont update to latest MacOS and has "kernel panics"

Hello everyone, I have a 2020 MacBook pro i7 32gb ram and it wont let me update to latest sequoia. And I get these error popups saying my MacBook has restarted due to a problem but when I look at the logs it says something about a kernel panic. so far I've tried everything as far as updating goes, bootable drive, internet recovery, etc... I've managed to update to sequoia but it just wont let me update to the latest version. but I'm more worried about this "kernel panic" thing.

Kernel Panics can be hardware or software, from the sound of it you have a software issue with something in your startup list. To prove it setup an external drive, reformat it so there’s nothing on it, then startup the OS installer. But this time select the external drive as the startup drive. See if the OS installs cleanly there. You might also want to download from Apples servers a fresh copy of the OS installer as well in case that was corrupted.

Let us know how it goes.
