Clicking starts and a tiny light on main board is flashing
Lg 55LH90 Took back off and plugged in. Clicking starts and a tiny light on main board is flashing. Disconnected all cables going to power board. Plugged in power - nothing came on. Plugged in main board cable, clicking and light flashing resumed. Does this tell me the main board needs replaced? Saw 2 capacitors of the power supply that had a bit of brown goo on their tops and seem a bit puffy at the top. Should these be replaces too?

I'm handy but not up to soldering. Can I replace the entire power supply board? Will I know what to buy when I remove the back of the TV?

Is there a schematic of the boards somewhere online?

@sallytile not sure about what make and model your TV is. Yes, you can most certainly replace the whole power board. Just make sure it is the power supply and not another board, otherwise you are just spending money on things that might not need to be replaced.

@sallytile sure, could be a main board issue. Without actually measuring the voltages from the main and power board, I am not yet convinced that this is the only issue. Post some pictures of your boards with your Question. That way we can see what you see and hopefully figure out how to make a final diagnosis.Adding images to an existing question
