IPAD 8 Home button replacement with purchased kit

I have purchased the IPAD 7/8 Digitiser replacement kit. After following the guide, iPad 8 Screen Digitizer Replacement, I am at the stage where I need to return the Home Button.

The instructions are not clear on whether the Home Botton must be glued back or not?

Trying to reverse the steps is not clear on this process.

Any help would be appreciated on re-installing the components from the kit.

This guide includes more thorough steps for re-attaching the home button:
iPad 8 Home Button Assembly Replacement
Basically:
-align the button and rubber gasket

-glue the flex cable to the glass

-glue the metal bracket to the glass to give the button something to click to

You seem to have a new rubber gasket and new metal bracket that come attached with their own glue. You can choose to use the new ones, and you'll probably only need to use your own glue/double-sided tape for attaching the flex to the glass.
