Drum vent canister on water inlet side leaking
Where the plastic vent tube attaches to the drum, it fills with some water during cycle and leaks very slightly. There is a screw top and bottom securing it to the drum and I have not removed it as it seems this is not available as a separate part and whole drum no longer available. I have attached a picture, what is the solve?

Hi @shawntech78278
What is the make and model number of the washer?
I think that the tube you're referring to is a water level pressure sensor tube connecting the tub to the water level pressure sensor and mostly they are replaceable.
If the connector where the tube connects to in the tub is where it is leaking from and not a problem with the tube itself at that point, then that may not be replaceable, without replacing the outer tub.
As the water rises in the tub it also rises in the tube, increasing the air pressure on the sensor. The sensor output informs the control board what level the water is so it knows when to turn on/off the water inlet valves.
Note: There are no images attached with your question. Here's how to do this on ifixit Adding images to an existing question

Thanks for the reply, this is a mhw5100dw0.
It is not the pressure sensor boot near bottom center, it is the part WPW10261582 which attaches to the middle-lower right hand side of the drum when facing the machine from the rear. This part is no longer available. Found many others using silicone on the rubber gasket at the end of the pipe to help solve. I corrected the photo in the original post, thanks for posting that it was not working.

Either apply silicone or looking at an image of an equivalent vent pipe can you replace the gasket, if a worn gasket is the problem?
The last part number that I could find for your model is W10604969 but that is NLA everywhere as well

I'm trying silicone just wondered if there's more to it, excessive volume of water ending up in the pipe? If not silicone will be the fix I guess.

Don't know the machine but looking at the vent pipe housing (part #29 tub and basket parts) connected at the other end of the vent it shows it has an electrical connection and was wondering if this is the "active vent" as seen in the wiring diagram on p.22 of the tech sheet for the washer.
If this is a valve of some sort and it was stuck?? maybe that's why there's a problem with the vent.
Just guessing all this ;-)
