Hi @aaronmcmahon,
Can't find replacements by searching for the part number shown on the back of the display.
Without knowing the make and model number of the screen so as to hopefully find its datasheet to get the flex cable pinout and voltage requirements for the screen info etc finding a compatible screen will be difficult if not impossible.
Have you tried checking if it is a backlight problem, that may be related to the motherboard and not the display?
Turn on the camera and then try shining a flashlight at an angle close to the screen and check if you can see any images at all.
They will be very faint if they are there, so trying this in a darkened room may help .
if there are images to be seen, then it is a backlight problem.
Next you have to determine if it is in the display or on the board.
Looking at a close up image of the screen connector (see below) there are two things I check.
a). Check if the diode marked D1 is OK
b). Check if there's battery and ground on the motherboard connector pins that line up with the two highlighted wires, (see image) where the flex cable plugs in. Check with the flex cable removed. Be careful that you don't short them out when using the test probes of your DMM (digital multimeter) as they're very close to each other.
It may be that the motherboard circuit design requires that the screen be plugged in so as to apply power to the backlights. I don't know, it's just what I'd try.
If there is power on the relevant connector pins, then the problem is in the screen.
If there's no power on the connector pins then post an image of the motherboard (both sides).
