Green light but nothing else turns on

My psp when turning it on has the green light for a moment before going dark nothing else turns on either. Ive opened it up and unplugged and replugged the ribbon cables and that didnt do anything. Is there anything i can do or do i just have to buy a new one?

Well, it does sound like it's bricked... Did you modded it before?

If yes, you can try to hold the "R" and then turn it on (keep holding the R button) and you will get into the recovery menu.

If you are in there, try to format "flash0" and then go back and go to "save and exit" and try again.

If it won't boot to any safe mode menu, then it's completely bricked and only a new motherboard will help you further, unfortunately...
