How to check battery health

Try using the phone in safe mode and check how long the battery lasts.
If it lasts longer then perhaps 3rd party apps (apps installed by you) may be operating (online?) in the background unbeknownst to you and draining the battery faster.
Another way to do this if you don't need the phone to be online all the time is to turn off mobile data either using this method or swiping down the status bar on the home screen and deselecting the mobile data option. Also turn off the WiFi and BT as well (if you don't need them all the time), because if they're enabled they will be scanning constantly looking for networks and other BT devices to connect to thereby draining the battery unnecessarily.
