Nintendo’s first major revision of the 3DS released to Japan in October of 2014 and to North America in September of 2015. The 2015 3DS introduces improved 3D capabilities, a C-Stick, new internal amiibo support, and a new set of trigger buttons.

Why did my R button break down?

My system is used and appears to have been... Shall we say, well loved. I was playing a game and one second the R button was just fine, the next it was mushy and didn't respond. The other shoulder buttons are fine for now. In fact, this issue is why I got a second system- my New Nintendo 2DS XL lost L button use.

Hi there!

I recommend to replace the R button. This is a common issue.

Replacing it, isn't hard!

Guide: Nintendo 3DS 2015 Lower Case Replacement (after this, please take the buttons out of the lower case).
