Is the printhead done for?

See photos below, plugged in printer came up with Jam error W-01 printhead was unlocked, there was no paper in printer at all. Shut off and turned on again after a bit smelled smoke and there was a sizzle, pulled the plug immediately. Pulled out printhead cable is obviously burnt, is the printhead likely fried? Or think it'll work with new cable/splice?

Seems there was an ink leak that cause it but that's just an assumption.

If you’re able to, and have the skills (I don’t) to completely resplice a cable, then go for it. I’m guessing that would fix the issue. I think the printhead isn’t fried but I’m not 100% sure.

@prestontech fair enough, ill give it a go tomorrow, mainly posted here incase someone knew for a fact the printhead would be done, then I wouldn't waste my time.
