Why is my dashboard says battery/alternator stop vehicle!

Check that the serpentine belt is OK and not broken/stretched etc.

Here's a video that may help.

Amongst other things the belt turns the alternator which generates the electrical power used by the vehicle.

If the alternator is not working then everything relies on the battery and very soon it will be discharged and of no use. You won't be able to start the car etc.

If the belt is OK then it may be a faulty alternator or voltage regulator.

Either way get it checked out by an auto electrician because if you don't you may not be able to use the car soon.
