Speakers do not have bass after replacing battery

Hi everyone,

I just replaced the macbook pro's battery but the audio sounds awful now. It sounds like there's no bass when I play a video. I am not sure if there's something I broke or I did not plug in properly after I replaced the battery.

Can someone please take a look and see if I am missing anything? If I put my ear on the left and right speaker, there are sound coming out from both and looks like the bass is missing. I am suspecting the part where I circled in red in pics is the issue because it looks like there's no connection cable that attach to it?

Thank you!

When you replaced the battery, did you use the liquid adhesive remover?

Yes, I tried my best and taped both speakers

It could be that the adhesive remover got into the speakers. Do they feel loose or sound like they might got liquid inside them?

That's possible. They dont feel loose, I am assuming they are probably broken if adhesive remover got in?
