@fafoy58 the U0079 can be caused by a Water pump Malfunction error. This would be consistent with your water pump doing what it does. The "control module communication bus g off" code is really very generic and does only pertain to anything monitored by Bus G but again, a faulty water pump can give you this error. If in doubt, use a BMW scanner and see if that gives you further detail.
