3ds starts drifting after a few minutes of playing
Hello! My new 3ds starts drifting after a few minutes of playing. First it works fine but after a few minutes the (I think analog stick) starts drifting to one side very aggressively. i’ve tried cleaning up with iso, but then the problem still occurred so I replaced the analog stick and i still have the exact same problem. I don’t think it is the c-stick since this also happens in games that don’t support the c-stick. I’m pretty sure that i put the ribbon cables right in and didn’t damage it since the rest of my console still works and i did it very carefully. Does anyone know a solution?

Just to check, have you tried calibrating the circle pad?

Maybe something on the motherboard. Do you have any other 3DS there? Swapping out the stick would be a great test. It does sound like the issue is there on motherboard level...
