Ambilight not turning on

Hello,

I’ve got a 75PUS8506 Philips Ambilight TV and the backlight is not turning on. I noticed that if I press in the back of the TV just above the connectors, the Ambilight turns on, but turns off again when I stop pressing on that area. I’m not sure if it’s a heat sink or a cable that’s a bit loose. Wondering if it’s easy enough to take off the back panel to have a look and if it is any of those issues, how easy it is to fix it myself? Thanks

@buddhajon not sure about easy since this is a big TV and the back cover is a bit of a challenge. Get somebody to help you with removing it due to the size. Once it is removed, take a look at the boards and check for lose components etc. Take some well focused pictures and post those with your Question that way we can see what you see.
