Not draining even after pump change

I have a Frigidaire dishwasher model LFID2426TF1A about 4 or 5 years old. A week or so ago it stopped draining. Having seen this movie before (different house different dishwasher) I assumed it was the drain pump. I just replaced the drain pump and it is still not draining.

There is no garbage disposal hooked up to it - no disposal at all.

I took the filters out of the basin prior to ordering the pump in case the issue was a clogged filter but after a good clean there was no change.

The drain hose is not clogged.

It makes sounds like it is draining but when it’s done and I open it up the entire basin (tub?) is full. This is true both before and after the pump replacement.

I’m about to order a pump and motor assembly but I don’t like to just throw parts at things when I’m not sure.

Anyone know what I should do? Is the pump assembly the right move? Is there something I’m overlooking?
