Help: Phone completely bricked after screen repair

Hello, I just finished repairing my friend’s phone, and it’s completely bricked, no signs of life at all. Which is extremely weird as I repaired his phone a month ago (yes he breaks screens a lot) and this has never happened before.

If you're suddenly getting no power after a repair, your best bet is to retrace your steps. Try reseating all the connectors that were unplugged during the repair.

Does it come on if you reinstall the old screen? Could be the new display is faulty. I've also seen the front sensor flex cable (that's mounted to the back of the screen) cause no power issues if it's bad.
