Main power board substitution

A service rep from Samsung installed a 55inch tv main power board in my 75 inch tv. He said they are compatible. I don't believe this is true as the power requirements are higher for a bigger screen. Is this true?

@joepatters19077 I am confused :-) You did not tell us if it works. Yes, some of those boards are interchangeable. Not a whole lot of power difference between those displays and nothing that a decent PSU can't handle. Remember that you are looking at DC voltages of 12V -24V (most likely 12V for your TV) and your PSU gets all of that voltage from 110VAC or 240VAC if you are somewhere in Europe :-) Lots of room left to pull additional amps to illuminate your screen etc.

This is not to say that the board that was installed in your TV, is the right substitute.

Now let's investigate this a bit closer. Your TV should have a Samsung BN44-00874E power supply. What is the number on the power supply that was installed?
