Motor is Burnt Out?

I started to use my Hoover Power Scrub yesterday and it quit running and smoke was coming out. The motor is shot. I started looking for a replacement motor and a new one is $50-60. A used one is around $30-40 amd there is an inherent risk, like how long is the expected life. Anyway, I found a video to do the replacement but with the motor cost, shipping, my labor - Is it worth it? Here is the link for doing the replacement: https://youtu.be/zwNsO1cIa00?si=TMn_ip1U...

@russellduggan this will entirely depend on you. Only you know how much you would/could spend and what you „charge“ for labor. If it would be me I‘d fix it. My Labor is free since I would only spend that time doing other non-productive things ;-). Initial replacement cost is also a multitude higher then fixing it meaning a repair would dave me money. I like being frugal and saving money Lastly, it would also prevent increasing the amount of eWaste. My advice would be to go for a fix.
