Samsung WF42H5000AW/A2

Issue

  • washer will not complete full normal cycle
  • Tried unplugging letting it sit with no change
  • Error codes that have been seen are 3E, 3E2, and bE2
  • Self test mode stops at 8 and throws 3E error code
  • What I've replaced up to this point:
  • Control Board
  • Inverter Board
  • Drain Pump
  • Hall Sensor Replaced

Would appreciate any suggestions on what to try next

Thanks!

Hi @thecases

Did you check the wiring for continuity between the hall sensor and the inverter board?

Not familiar with electronic terminology, how would one check continuity? Washer now just stops and acts like someone hit the pause button.

@thecases

You would need to use an Ohmmeter (feature in a DMM - digital multimeter) and connect it between each wire at each end and check that it measures 0.00 Ohms i.e. that each individual wire is not broken/fractured somewhere between where it connects to the control board and the sensor
