Console turns on with blue light screens light up nothing displays

Hi all I have recently acquired a new nintendo 3ds xl which I have been told it was working last year then got put away and now won't start/boot when I try to turn it on it shows a blue power light and screens both light up but nothing displays on them I has no cfw installed and dosnt have any kind of water damage and everthink looks very clean on the inside boards I have tried recommended steps from online like remove battery sd card ect reconnecting cables ect and have tried recovery mode by pressing L+R UP on dpad and a button when powering on but nothing changes other than a separate orange light appears near the blue power light I've also tried switching it on and leaving it for 15 mins to see if it boots but still nothing and was hoping someone might have seen this before and might have some suggestions any help is really appreciated and thankyou for you time.

Hi!

Are you like 100% sure that it’s not modded??

Anyway, please remove the SD card and try to boot it without one. This error could be caused by anything. Even by the camera ribbon cable.

Please check if the above didn’t worked, all the ribbon cables for damage and if they are properly connected.

Hi thankyou for you comment as far as I know it isn't modded and I have tried removing sd card and booting but still nothing. there is a very slight bulge to the battery but it charges and dose power on I have also tried my non xl 3ds battery by holding it in place as its smaller but the same thing happens unfortunately I have also removed all cables and boards to check it all looks ok but I wouldn't know what to look for for a broken ribbon cable other that physical damage and they look ok to me

Hi!

I think this is not related to the battery, so that should be fine. Maybe this is software related. @darthmango know more about this! If it’s hardware related anyway, we need to check invidual components. But hopefully it is software related!

@dan0 hi thankyou for the reply I've disconnected all leads and cables to check them over they all look good to me but I am no expert all boards look clean aswell I hoping this is software related aswell.

No problem! Let’s wait for @darthmango. Otherwise we do need to check invidual components.
