Hi @brittanyla65465

Here's the tech sheet for your washer.

First check whether the Diagnostic light on the control board is on or off - see p.2 DIAGNOSTIC LED - MAIN CONTROL.

If it is off, go to p.12 TEST #1: Main Control and follow the steps to find out what's wrong.

If it is determined that the control board is faulty and needs replacing, search online for W10897776 or W11124783¹ (supplier examples only).

If it is on, see p.2 ACTIVATING THE SERVICE DIAGNOSTIC TEST MODES. If the diagnostics work and there's an error code, see the Fault/Error Code Display Method chart on p.3 for how to interpret the status lights. The error codes and their likely causes are shown on p.6-p.7

If you find the problem and it is a faulty part that needs replacing, here's the parts list that is useful. Locate the wanted part in the list and note the manufacturer's part number that is shown with it. Search online for the part number only, to find suppliers that suit you best.

¹ This is the part number for the board that replaces the original (first part number listed) as it has been superseded

Thank you for your advise and for the tech sheet! I am about to begin your instructions now. I did reach out to Parts Select customer service and explained everything to them and they told me to order a new Shift Actuator but I really am not sure that is the issue...

I was testing the DC voltage on the shifter : J12 connector and it is supposed to read 12V and it is only reading 11.1V does that mean I need to replace the control board?

@brittanyla65465

This is between J12/4 and J12/1 is this correct?

What error code did you get when running the diagnostics?

Did you measure the resistance of the shifter motor i.e. 2K-3.5K Ohms?

crwdns2934271:0crwdnd2934271:0crwdne2934271:0

yes that is correct ! and good news my washer finally went into diagnostic mode and I was able to get several error codes. F7E5 was the first one followed by F9E1

@brittanyla65465

Use the tech sheet to find out what to do for an F7 E5 code first i.e. Test 3 & 3A p.13 - p.14.
