Advice on how to replace thermal paste on CPU

Hi, my Razer Blade 15" Studio laptop has been running hotter and hotter as of late. I was able to open the back and extract quite a bit of dust from the bottom fans, which helped my issue somewhat, but not nearly as much as I would have hoped.

Since I've been using if for over 3 years now, I figure it would be wise to try applying new thermal paste to the CPU (I'm not sure if the discrete graphics card inside would also have thermal paste to replace, but if so then I'd guess it would be useful to replace that as well).

I have some experience following pre-existing iFixit guides, but certainly wouldn't know where to start on this task given that I can't find any information online about how the internals of this machine are laid out. If it would be useful, I can supply a picture of the inside after removing the back panel.

@mitchybemitchin great idea about posting an image of your board. To change your thermal paste, check this video Should be the same for your model. Adding images to an existing question

While you work on your laptop, take lots of pictures. Once you are done with it, take those pictures and create a guide for iFixit. That will help the next person that has a device with the same issues as you do. It's easy and fun to create these guides. https://ifixit.com/Guide/new The iFixit community will appreciate this.

Apologies for taking so long to reply, I have been putting this off but have now been forced to open the laptop up since the battery is expanding significantly. I figured I would take pictures while trying to remove the battery to help with this question regarding how to apply new thermal paste. However, I have ran into a snag while trying to remove the battery. I've removed the five visible screws that are holding the battery in place, but the battery is still secured somehow and cannot be removed. Additionally, I cannot discern where the battery is actually connected to the rest of the machine, so I'm unable to unplug the battery from the motherboard. Unfortunately the internals of this machine seem to be quite different from the one in the video you've supplied. Is there a way for me to add an image in a comment?

I've edited the original question to add a picture of the internals.
