While the owner manual for this washer is silent on specifying a capacity, it does state that, "For best performance, load items in loose heaps evenly around the washplate Try mixing different sized items to reduce tangling IMPORTANT: Items need to move freely for best cleaning and to reduce wrinkling and tangling"

There is also loading info on page 29 of the owners manual which I an too dumb to upload but is available at:

Hi @johnb92215

All Kenmore 110 series washers have a capacity of 3.2 cu. ft.

If you wish to verify this a quick way to do this is like finding the volume or cubic capacity of a cylinder, where the washer tub is the cylinder.

Calculating the Volume of a Cylinder

1. Measure the width of the tub and divide by 2 to get the radius.

2. Calculate the area of the tub:

To do this, just use the formula for finding the area of a circle, A = 3.14 x r x r (where r is the radius)

3. Measure the depth of the tub

4. Multiply the area by the depth.

Use the same measurement base e.g. feet for both the radius measurement and the depth measurement.

The answer will be in cubic feet.
