Is there anyway that I can charge it in any of the other input options or do I have to specifically charge it with the charging cord into the charging port?

Sorry, You can only charge your laptop using the barrel jack. Here is the charger for your laptop model.
It's not the cheapest, but it has the most positive ratings. If it sets your house on fire...
